Pyke

Decided the other day that I was badly slacking off in terms of doing any drawing or illustration with complex, realistic backgrounds.

Castles are as good a thing as any to motivate me to do some basic perspective drawings. I was burning my way through 'A Clash of Kings' again (spurred on by the excellent second season of the tv show obviously) and tried my hand at a watercolor illustration of Pyke, seat of house Greyjoy

painting stormy seas is difficult but fun. Drawing craggy cliffs is just difficult.
